         		 After a breathtaking 150kms of superb twisties (as seen in the background), beautiful tarmac (imagine flying past quaint little viillages because the surface beneath you is willing you onwards!) and stunning scenery of barren fields edging their way right up to the base of HUGE mountain peaks that were soaking up the afternoon sun. And to think that most of the group went directly to the hotel because of this morning's rain. We had to literally pull off the road at a moment's notice and kill the engine to soak it all in.          		 Pulled up outside the Joey Dunlop rec centre ready to be police-escorted to Joey's Bar down the road. The lovely ladies at the centre fed us fresh salmon & corn sandwiches and endless cuppas and shortbreads. There was so much food left over they were begging us to have 3rds and 4ths.
