         		 On occasion, a black swamp wallaby may hop out for few minutes! If lucky, one the black swamp wallabies may show up, maybe even 2 or 3! They can move fast, don't always stay long and were easily scared off! I have included an image of an older swamp wallaby here - the younger ones have a dark chocolate - black coat, but like humans, they start to grey as they get older, making this one a real senior! You are most likely to see them if you sit at your section of the campground, enjoying the peace and serenity, and they may hang around longer if you are quiet, calm and slow moving.: by taz_au, Views[439]
         		 I was lucky also to be woken by the kookaburras - which only showed up 1 or 2 of my days at camp. I loved this shot - which was one of my last shots before leaving camp, to return home! I was watching and following it, as it flew from tree to tree, for at least 60 minutes, maybe more. I loved this shot the most, as it looks like the kookaburra is an extension of the tree branch! I stood on my car bonnet, just before saying goodbye to this beautiful spot, to get this shot too, as it was high up!          		 The sand had a great drop about 1 foot past the beach of the bays' shelly sandy surface! On both sides of the sand, lay rockyness - often with a sea bird or two! As yo can see in this image, the of the side rockyness, on the far edge of the rocks, in the distance, sits a very calm sea bird, enjoying the views, waiting for it's next meal!: by taz_au, Views[476]
     
    Bush camping by the sea. I love the city life, i love keeping busy, i love doing different things... but... sometimes life, the real world, just gets too much, and you just need to escape! Life was getting way too busy, screwing me around in every direction, starting to make me sick. With lack of money, I found and bought a free camping directory. I thought - I have a few days free with nothing to do, time to get back to an old love - camping in nature! Why not go bush and try free camping, away from all modern technology, and live the old fashioned way for a few days! I chose to go to the free camp not far outside of Batemans Bay, NSW. It was beautiful, even more so with only 1 or 2 neighbours, who were clean a quiet, no loud noise, and the the mobile phone switched off, so no distractions!     “This is home, the biggest house in town”. A place against the store fronts under the canopy of the Queen Victoria Building, an ornate late nineteenth-century shopping complex, which fills an entire city block. Warren finishes his day around 11pm and comes here, unpacks his suitcase and makes his bed from an old foldable bed pad and few layers of threadbare blankets. He empty’s his pockets and tally’s up his earnings for the day.          		 “It’s good for your heart, mind and soul”. “Living on the streets is brutal”, he said. In his first week, someone stole his bag containing all of his clothes, worldly possessions and photos. He lost the only physical reminders from his past life. Since then he’s been mugged, robbed and was almost killed by someone wielding a crowbar. Late one night, an unknown assailant hurled human feces and a bottle of urine. Through it all he remains hopeful.          		 “He is not jobless, but he is homeless”. Around ten each morning Warren makes his way to Pitt Street Mall, moving to the same place he sat the day before. He begins his daily ritual of setting up shop. Around three he packs his stuff up, stows it in a safe spot before taking his dogs for a walk in Sydney’s Hyde Park. He became their dad when a mate upped and moved to Queensland a couple of months back. It was the day after he’d tried to end it. He’s 56 and for the past two years he’s been living on the pockmarked inner city streets.          		 “I couldn’t give this boat away” he says as we return from the last trip of the season. The paint is worn away in the familiar places hands rest in the wheelhouse, symbolic of his fondness for the Caroline.          		 Life on board the trawler doesn’t suit many. The auxiliary motors for the freezers are loud and the boat vibrates all day and all night, the prawns eventually irritate even the toughest hands and the Pilbara heat is relentless. Competing against the opportunities offered in mining Eoin has difficulty finding staff, yet whenever his young deckhands show potential he urges them not to come back the next season; to stop wasting their talent with him and get decent jobs.          		 Eoin’s prawn trawler the Caroline M. is recognised by the ship-loader operators when he steams past the titanic machines and ships of Australia's largest iron ore export terminal. On Western Australia's Pilbara coast Eoin is returning home to Point Samson, a nearby fishing village.
