         		 Mystic and magic happens, stepping over the edge of an entrance in those alleys. I have never been in a room like this, I did not dare to touch anything, I was stunned by its beauty and reflection of the mirrors. Until a salesman appeared who tried to make a living, like all the others who are living in those alleys, Farmers, Tailors, Butchers, Artist or craftsmen who made me feel as I traveled back in time to a different century.          		 I wanted to capture the lifestyle of the people who lived in a labyrinth, who had no reason to look up the time; everybody was welcoming, friendly and curious and so was I. It is their home I visited; I never had to enter a door and automatically was everybody’s guest and friend. : by sonschas, Views[372]
         		 I followed a stranger, a mother and her child, chasing through the alleys of love. With distance, I observed how the woman hit a door buckle in a melody as if it was a secret knock, to assure the person on the other side, that it is her who just arrived. As I waited with the mother, the door opened and three kids and two older women stepped out and greeted her and the baby with kisses and hugs.     Out of waste, those two boys created joy in the alleys of Medina. I did get lost in the alleys and sometimes I got scared, when it became dark and quiet, but when I came across those children, I felt very peaceful inside of me. It calmed me down and watching them playing, without a clue of the rules, gave me a great impression of the Lifestyle the families living there.          		 The oldest leather tannery in the world, in the labyrinth of Fez Medina. Fez found in the foothills of the North middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Balconies and rooftops, give a great opportunity to take your perfect picture. That is from where I took this photograph. This is usually a place which is always occupied by many workers, and always seem to be hectic and loud.          		 The colors of the leather and other textil products are all over the narrow streets of the medinas, in every shop, every man and woman, from head to toe.          		 In the heart of the souk in Fes is an area devoted to the dying of leather. If you look across the dye pits, you can see the rooftops of the many surrounding buildings & sense the hectic activity taking place there. But the dye pits feel removed from the commotion, as the men go about their work. It doesn’t matter that it takes a lot of labour, or that they may be waist-deep in dye as they stomp the leather beneath their feet…the leather is dyed how it has been for years – by hand & by foot: by justinekain, Views[660]
         		 Often when people think of Morocco, they picture the desert and the markets. What they may not realise is that it is a very diverse country with many different climates and landscapes. High up in the Atlas Mountains, the local people work the fields that have been cut into the sides of the hills. The cooler climate is imminently suitable for the crops, creating a patchwork of green across the hillsides, stretching out towards the mountain peaks.: by justinekain, Views[295]
         		 The area around the village of Imlil in the Atlas Mountains is stunning, so we spent several days hiking there. One day we headed out into some neighbouring hills. The trail that we were on came down to a road and as we were crossing it, we saw some of the local children coming towards us.     We’d been hiking in the Atlas Mountains for several hours - almost all of it uphill! The landscape changed slowly, from many trees and plants at the village to just small stands amongst the red tinted soil higher up. As I was tiring, we came to the top of the mountain and I was well rewarded with the stunning view into the next valley and to the surrounding peaks.          		 We were exploring the souk in Marrakech. There are so many streets & alleys - all of them full of people, shops & stalls. There's so much activity & so many sights, sounds & smells that your attention is captured by something new almost every second. And then I saw a boy, walking through the souk on his own, carrying a lantern.          		 There was a stillness surrounding this Moroccan man as he sat quietly reading from his Qur’an. Beside him rose the unfinished sandstone columns and Hassan Tower minaret, which was intended to be part of the World’s largest mosque in the Moroccan Capital, Rabat.          		 Dressed in his traditional Moroccan dress, a djellaba, this man walks through the maze of predominately blue and white alleyways that make up the Mountain town of Chefchaouen, a popular tourist destination in Morocco.          		 It is not uncommon to see beggars on street corners in Morocco. This particular Moroccan Beggar, dressed in a weathered old suit, had a quiet dignity about him.     A regular sight along the streets and towns of Morocco are men and their donkeys. In his white flowing djellaba, this Moroccan man rides sidesaddle along the road near the dessert town of Rissani. Donkeys are also regularly used to haul carts and carry supplies.: by joymelchiori, Views[1409]
         		 This Moroccan fisherman walks along the street in the Medina quarter (old city section) of the seaside village of Essaouira. He portrays a solemn figure against the backdrop of monochromatic city walls.: by joymelchiori, Views[1053]
         		 Like old age musketeers, these four elderly gentlemen were resting on their canes in the main square of their little mountain village. Exhilarated by the colourful procession of people before them, they were probably storytelling about their lives as young men.          		 Life is hard for Berber people living in the highest village on the way to the topmost peak in Morocco. They have to rely solely on four-legged transportation to carry bare necessities to their homes. It is an everyday struggle but with a mule's stubbornness and a ram's determination one can get anywhere.: by yav, Views[1446]
         		 This mother has to carry the heavy load of raising her children through the stairs of life. She is a lone hero in her motherly role but her children fill her life with comfort and beauty while her husband sweats in the heat to feed the family. : by yav, Views[676]
     
    The robe seller was seemingly bored by people wearing only black and white. He didn’t have a real shop - sitting on a rusty old wheelbarrow, he used the wall to showcase his colourful and inexpensive collection of second hand robes. Intoxicated by the early afternoon heat, he still stood there so that he could earn enough to get by and show Moroccans that they don’t have to be rich to wear beautiful and colourful robes.: by yav, Views[797]
         		 Every day this street musician fills the heavy afternoon air with the lightest and chirpiest melody, playing his one string Berber lute. He was so immersed in the beauty of his tune that he forgot to lay down his hat for tips. His heart sang through the lonely string.: by yav, Views[523]

    Petra must be the other gift that god give to Bedouin, after Camel. Since Petra was listed as the "New Seven Wonders of the world", the tourism industry in Petra was blooming. To enjoy the silence and peaceful time of Petra, I visited the site in the early morning. While I was trying to photograph a pair of camel with the monument, one of them discover me and turns his head to me, creating this interesting shot of the two treasuries of Bedouin.
