    Again New Zealand surprised me with its vibrant greens and at the Hobbit set it was only enhanced by the range of wildlife growing around the hills. The pale fence was brought to life with an array of native flowers and plant life working on awing my senses.          		 This was my favourite Hobbit whole, the natural sky blue of the door blended in with the nature and vibrant colours surrounding the scene.          		 Upon standing on a hill I was able to look down among the Shire and view those hidden chimneys where I could see both life and death among the wildlife.          		 I had not intended on making the distant beehives blurred however that was how it turned out and I am very pleased with the affect as I am drawn to the wonder of the flowers before the hive entwined around the fence as if they are trying to keep me from getting the honey that lies beyond.     A picture of the past, an old boat ramp from New Zealand's whaling history, Kaikoura, New Zealand's east coast. Where the Australian and pacific plates collide, the Hikurangi trench provides a perfect habitat for sperm whales, this trench is just a few kilometres out to sea. This made Kaikoura the perfect spot to hunt the sperm whale which at the time was the most sort after whale due to the fine grade oil stored in the front section of their skull. The oil itself is such a fine grade it was used in expensive watches and as well as being used by the Rolls Royce car company.          		 A break in the clouds brings a dramatic end to the day, Gellespies beach, just west of fox glacier, New Zealand's west coast.
