         		 Took a 50 minute scenic flight from Franz Josef NZ to view the nearby glaciers. Quite nice, I was able to sit in the front seat next to the pilot.: by lipowcan8, Views[256]
         		 My green luggage rolls and also has zip out straps so I can carry it as a backpack. My intention was to carry it on my back. After hiking about a half hour I realized that the trail was so smooth I could roll my bag. I ended up rolling it for over 90% of the hike. I got lots of smiles, some laughter, and a few pictures. The trail is one of the most hiked in NZ. Folks come from all over the world with their top of the line equipment. After awhile, I had a pretty good routine worked out.          		 Booked a round trip, one and half hour bus trip from Nelson to Able Tasman National Park. Included bus, two nights in a hut, three day park permit, 17 mile hike and a one hour return boat ride for about $120.US. Good deal.: by lipowcan8, Views[256]
