         		 Photo of Parque das Nações at Lisbon-Portugal. This used to be a place where old refineries laboured and where domestic garbage was dumped. The area was completely renewed and is nowadays a big park by river Tagus with lots of residential and migratory birds.          		 Industrial Symphony shows a deserted landscape of a factory building in the city of Guimarães in Portugal. The industrial development during the 20th century was responsible for the great urban transformation of this territory.          		 They are in a hurry. But still is this quickened city, they are some, who still search the opportunity, which Lisbon gives them - the opportunity to fly and to be free. In this idyllic city, not everyone is happy, but how could they? It gives me not only the great feeling, but the nostalgia, too. It makes me wanting to just stand there and stare at the beautiful sea. It makes me wanting to read, to create, to photograph, to be part of it, no matter in what way. And then I see this person.     Because so many people go through cities like Lisbon. So many different personalities have been on that train. Yes, on exactly this one, on this steep street. Going somewhere. Everybody so purposeful. Everybody has no time to appreciate, everybody has no time to see. Because the people, who live in Lisbon, are the one, who are blind to it’s beauty. They don’t have time, they are busy traveling. They are busy going somewhere. They are always on their way on the steep street. In the rush, they only see the graffiti, but they don’t know how much it meant for someone to draw them. They don’t know how lonely this train feels.          		 What Lisbon gives me is magical. There are some places, where you can’t explain what you feel, because it’s just a feeling. Lisbon is one of those. It’s not just a city, it’s a mixture of art, history, people, culture. The spirit, which flies over it, is what makes is so special. To walk on the streets, to meet all these people, without knowing them, without understanding their language, but still feeling the emotions on their faces, to inhale every little detail from those stunning buildings. Masterpiece of architecture, filled with history. How many people have walked on that street? How many souls have been here? Every one of them is a piece of this city. The people - that’s what gives a city it’s final ingredient. And the buildings? They just keep standing there, watching, being pretty. They just keep imbibing pieces of those souls and then keep telling stories to strangers like me.
