         		 The Park rescues elephants from abusive environments and provides a safe home where they can roam freely, interact naturally, and form family groups, just like they would in the wild. Mae Dow is the elephant on the left and has a deformed back and broken hip through forced breeding.          		 The Park aims to be a safe refuge for any animal in need, not just elephants. They have over 70 dogs, 40 cats, buffalos, cows, pigs, and birds under their care. They try, as far as possible, to rehabilitate animals and return them to an appropriate habitat.     In Thailand, the traditional way of training elephants to obey mahoots involves breaking the elephant's spirit by forcing it into a small cage and then repeatedly hitting and piercing it with sharp spikes. The elephant learns to respond to pain, and mahoots use a stick with a curved spike on the end to control trained elephants. The Park is trying to change this mindset. They train mahoots to treat their charges with love and respect, and teach them to use positive reinforcement to control the elephants in their care.          		 This is friend and buffalo. I like the contrast between them. He was wearing colourful jacket with hood from H&M, pants from UNIQLO, and ADIDAS shoes. He was surprised by a big black buffalo which is hardly to see in these days.          		 Myself portraited in the postcard mirror at the poscard shop. Most visitors love sending postcards, kind of souvenir from Pai, to their friends and family. Villagers earn much money on this business. The shop sell different nice photo postcards which were taken in this small and peaceful country. They provide magic colour pens so people can draw or write whatever they need in the postcard and also deliver all those cards to post office. Let's say it is one stop service shop. Easy!     Students in local primary school are waiting the right time, 08.00 AM sharp, to start singing national anthem together before they go to class. They are all wearing jacket to make themselves warm. I can tell that some of them cannot get rid of 'little lazy monster', not ready to get up.
