    What would have originally been the church's nave is now a games room for Adrian's two boys. The purpose built shed's hold all manner of things, including a substantial collection of Warhammer models. In a church that features stained glass windows painted by the likes of Burne-Jones, the modern one feels somewhat out of place. : by holly_peel, Views[346]

         		 Welcome to Emmanuel House. Formerly Emmanuel Church, it was built in 1828-29 by Robert Chantrell, architect to Leeds at the time. It's here that I first meet Adrian, a lecturer in architecture at Huddersfield University. He extends his hand to greet me and when questioned, talks excitedly about the church he is proud to call home. Having heard so much about him prior to my visit, he's somewhat less quiet and reserved than I was expecting and his friendly mannerisms immediately put me at ease.     Last year, when these pictures were taken, Spring was blooming in the snow in February. Nature continues to inspire me, leaving me in awe at how many seasons of Spring we saw last year.          		 Greenwich Park - Time is something that brings the whole world togehter. Time started because of travel...we travel today because we know what time to catch a train or flight. We are all connected because of time. Greenwich is one of the places where the international dateline passes through. In all this unity, it's important to define one's own path...regardless of what the others follow. Ergo, the above picture depicts the chosen path. Is it right? Or wrong?          		 Brick Lane: brick lane is a must visit if you're in london. The place is lively with many indian restaurants, spanish restaurants and italian restaurants. It's colourful and exciting. It's mostly known for it's beautiful street art. The one above is an illustration of such. It hit me personally because as it may be street art to one's eye...it's something more profound to another. The door and the windows are painted with bright colours, leaving what's inside to be a dark secret.     The London Tube - the london tube transports people within the city. The city is a big one. The tube not only blends cultures through the means of people, but also music. If it's not someone taping away to the beats of the song playing through his ear phones, it's the people playing their violins at guitars at the tube stations. Many people think the tube is morbid and mundane. But look closely and observe people...many of them are touritsts, travelers, musicians, business men, students, teachers...a blend of all common professions and passions.: by subranu, Views[967]

         		 Paddington Station, London - Travel to many people means many different things. To me, it's all about culture. London, in general, is city with diverse cultures and ethnicities.          		 The typical Knoydart view. All the shades of green and brown cover the torn hillsides. The sun dappling the landscape in warmth, giving slight respite from the icy wind.          		 Stewards of the Bothy. We met these four incredible men as we arrived at Sourlies Bothy. They work for free travelling all over Scotland repairing and maintaining Bothies, so that anyone can find a sheltered place to spend the night. A father, his two brothers and his son.     One stage of a three tiered waterfall we stumbled upon. The beauty of Knoydart is that you find amazing features all by yourself. Water cascaded over old bare rocks, so many different tones of silver and black. Before pitching up tent we just sat and watched as water gushed over the rocks and into the pool below, as it has done for years, whether there's anyone there to marvel at it or not.: by timwhiting, Views[383]
         		 Low at the bottom of the Knoydart mountains, the rivers carve deep into the earth, exposing old rocks, sculpted and shaped over the centuries. Much of Knoydart is owned by the John Muir trust, and we are so lucky to be able to walk freely across this landscape.
