         		 Over 100 million animals are sacrificed in the three days Eid Al-Adha occurs, with many voices raising objections on the cruelties, resources of livestock, & economic benefits for those involved. We must first understand the spirit Islam wishes to convey with Ibrahim’s loyalty to Allah’s will, & Isma’il’s willingness to accept his gruesome fate. Islamic law mandates that the sacrifice be swift, painless, and healthy for its eaters. Unfortunately, American slaughterhouse corporations are shifted more towards productivity.
