         		 «They have nothing… yet give so much!» One early morning in Delhi, it was really cold, and a few homeless men were sitting around a fire – they ended up sharing not only warmth, but also their contagious joyful smiles with better off people who had no heating in their homes and were gathering around the fire with them. Quickly the circle grew larger, and I thought it was such an irony, that those with the least had and shared something that others needed and lacked: the luxury of a warm fire.: by homeless, Views[356]
         		 «Think Twice» When I saw this woman begging, and the light of her beautiful smile, I wondered who really was the “giver”: me, looking at her from my world, or her, down there, asking for a few coins? At that very moment, I could not help but remember the lyrics of that song, “Think Twice… another day in paradise”, and while giving to one, feeling uneasy at the thought of not being able to give to all.          		 «Time Warp» It was a sunny afternoon. This homeless woman was walking through, yet beyond our world, untouched and untouchable, an outcast and a goddess at the same moment. Time seemed to stand still for her and the child she carried, she seemed so used to the fact that our world swirls past her, ignoring her. Have we really given up in the face of such tragedy?     «The Gates – a divide between 2 worlds.» In large Indian cities such as Delhi, homeless people are kept out of neighborhoods where only a lucky few live, separated from the outside world by gates – to me these are a powerful symbol of the divide between worlds, and it’s what I tried to show .          		 It’s not necessary to live in one of the biggest and most populated cities in the world to have a hectic life and be surrounded by many stressors. Even if Costa Rica is sometimes considered a peaceful place, traffic, crowds of people and delinquency can make San Jose City a chaotic site. I had the opportunity to leave the city for a while and explore part of Costa Rican South Pacific area. I captured some images that represents moments of quietness, peace or simply the predomination of nature over human actions. Traditional fishermen coming back from a working day, the beautiful White Tern (Gygis Alba), or the tropical forest growing without inhibitions.
