         		 Sam and I climbed a tower while the others rested on the stuccoed and tourist-friendly steps of Temple 34, the only one to be stuccoed so tourists can climb on it. Don't worry, the stucco is there to protect the original ruins, and there's a layer of plastic between the rock and the stucco. : by alpiner84, Views[598]
         		 Super-cool carvings being excavated from inside the water temple. They tell the story of two brothers, twins, who ventured to the underworld to retrieve their father, who was killed because he lost a ball game. They received their advice from their grandmother, who's spirit resided in a massive bird, and they borrowed the powers of the dragon-bird god to get into the underworld. : by alpiner84, Views[681]
