         		 Before food is served the local men & boys visit all the houses and perform a dance (with drumming and singing) with ropes, like a may pole dance. This particular ritual goes all day and night until all the houses have been visited.: by bamboozle69, Views[280]

         		 The next day we took a trip to find beaches. This one is near 'Kola' beach and there was nobody on it. On the way to find the path we came across a mini sized old man wearing nothing but a loin cloth. His son turned up and with what little local language we could gather we were guided to the path to the beach.          		 Cashew nut - how it grows on the tree from the Cashew Apple. They make an acoholic drink from the apple called 'Hurak', and the nut they make 'Feni'... both are like moonshine and get you full on pissed.          		 On our trip to the jungle we went to a river with these ancient petroglyphs. They say these are about 10,000 years old and only recently became known after a heavy monsoon... before they were covered in mud. This Labyrinth is my favourite.: by bamboozle69, Views[298]
         		 Along the river near the rock carvings I found a plant growing in the shape of a star. It was like a leafy plant like starfish... amazing.: by bamboozle69, Views[450]
         		 Two men brought out a handful of cashew nuts. The nut is surrounded by an acid so they need to be roasted. They made a fire, roasted the nuts as they popped and spit. Then they cracked them open with a rock and served us warm fresh cashews. They were yummy and nothing like the nuts you buy in a bag.: by bamboozle69, Views[282]
         		 On our trip through the jungle we stopped at a small cafe. While waiting for our food the cafe owner brought us these cashews (the nut grows on the bottom of an apple).
