After the devistation of Hurricane Katrina I volenteered to help and fell in love with the city, its people and their stories. For the past four years I have returned to work on re-building efforts. This photograph is the result of another project we took on one day, "Operation Climb Up the Levee" here you can see we are so close to reaching our goal, and yet so far away. Unfortunately that feeling is still shared in the larger recovery efforts.
