I love classical music.   I’m not like a lot of people my age…I prefer drinking wine and having dinner with a few friends to partying and doing a keg-stand.   So yesterday, I went to the Boletaria at San Martin Theatre in Cordoba and bought ... Read more >

As a child, I was always afraid of heights.   I remember a tree on the Grandpas farm.   It had, what remained of, an old tree house in it.   I always wanted to climb that tree but, I never had the nerve to do it.   I could make it to the last level ... Read more >

Ok so another food story. I seem to be giving the impression that I am only eating here! Easy to do though, as the food is fantastic. I even tried a steak (their beef is widely agreed to be the best in the world). I havén´t eaten a steak in about 8 years, ... Read more >

Vintage Cuba - On my travels I met an English woman who told me since her last visit to Cuba 3 years ago there were many more classic cars on the road. About a year ago Raul Castro introduced economic reforms to raise extra money for the embattled economy. Now a greater number of Cubans have money to restore their cars and it was evidently clear with hundreds of these shiny American 1950s cars cruising the Cuban roads today. A stunning depiction into what the capitalist era may have looked.: by jaddlem, Views[936]
