    SOLITUDE A worn and expectant chair; the start of a new day. The Laundromat is a silent meeting place for people of all walks of life. A common ground, where mutual respect is established and common societal boundaries are dissolved. This chair sees all who come in and out, and by the look of it, becomes intimate with many.          		 This jar of honey played a part in another section of the market: the drinks. The honey in this jar was used in the espresso martinis served by baristas. I was fascinated by the way the light hit the golden liquid and the jar was beautifully old fashioned.          		 The Night Markets are not only about craftwork and beautiful lights but are a celebration of international food. The queues for this particular delicacy, a popular South Korean street snack, are at a minimum 20 minutes long, But they are worth the wait, and I wanted to show the twist potato as a food of the people with this image.: by amandasummons, Views[404]

         		 The Victorian Markets, affectionately known as the Vic Markets, host Night Markets every Wednesday in Summer and this year I got the opportunity to be the official photographer for one of those nights. It was one of the most rewarding photographic experiences of my life to date – being allowed to photograph hand made beautiful objects up close and in detail.
