         		 In the previous picture all those foot prints were NOT from other campers, but from a herd of moose that must have used this island as a stop-over point while crossing the river the night before (Moose are good swimmers -- no joke !).          		 Now we answered our own question: This is why we're here. One of our top 10 tent sites of all time. Not only an amazing wilderness view, but this sandy island in the middle of the river was nearly mosquito free thanks to a light breeze. At 11.30 pm we got tired of watching the sun
