The tissue damage is so great, veterinarians are not certain they could intervene surgically to reduce the swelling.          		 A 3 year old orphan elephant was rescued after being help captive and losing his mother after a few weeks of being born. He is smaller in size than a normal elephant his age and because of a life of trauma and abuse, he lacks simple skills as placing food in his mouth without constantly dropping it.          		 HIV is a taboo subject inthe remote communities of Northern Thailand, but a big problem. Many of the tribes´ young people travel to Thailands big cities to work and end up falling into the tourist sex trade. Local hospitals take every opportunity to collect all the blood donations they can.
