    Late afternoon on the banks of the West Baray proves to be the hangout for a cool off, as boats rest there oars and take anchor for the night. This vast lake is actually man made in a perfect rectangle surrounded by concrete barriers it was primarily constructed as the main irrigation and water supply for the residents of Anghor Wat.     Finally entering the great Angkor Wat was an electrifying experience. Seeing the ancient ruins' silhouette through the full moon's light, while other explorers slowly revealed its details with their flashlights have given me a priceless moment of discovery.
