    We were slowly returning to mountain house. We got the easiest part of the journey across the meadows and through the woods. Upon returning to mountain home I was in charge of cooking dinner. Is not an easy task to cook dinner for over 100 people. After dinner, while other members were resting and mingle, the leaders of sections were doing plan for the next day.          		 At altitude of 1600 m terrain becomes a bit easier, so we have the time for take photos of the landscape. On the way back we met colleagues from the botanical section that were headed to the top. But later we found out that they did not reached the top but only up to 1750 m because there was a storm. Herpetological section on Dinara among other herpetological fauna, was looking for Croatian poisonous snakes: Vipera berus, V. and V. ammodites ursinii.          		 A mountain house is on alttitude of a 1000 m and the highest peak of Croatian is on 1831 m. Hiking from mountain lodge to the top and back, and collecting biological data at different alttitudes for Herpetological section lasted for 6h. Dinara is the karst area and the climbing and descent was quite tricky because the rocks in some parts quite loose and break easily.          		 Weather on Dinara montain is very changeable. So we have in one day experienced thunder storm, sun and storm winds. Biology NGO - BIUS is organized in sections. Each section deals with research of particular groups of organisms. So we have a section for spiders, beetles, reptiles, plants, fungi mammals, birds, etc. Every day sections go to different sites in the area we are reserching.          		 In 2012 with the association of students of biology, which I am a member, I organized biological research on mountain Dinara. Field research lasted for seven days in the 5th month and 10 days in the 8th month. Over 100 biology students from Croatian and abroad attended the research.     The herds on Exmoor roam over the 300 square mile National Park conservation grazing. The importance of what the people in the local communities are trying to preserve is rarely herd of outside of the area. This particular herd has been overseen by the Wallace family, for a Century. Many breed experts believe these animals bare the closest possible resemblance to the primitive wild horse, first recorded in the UK in 70,000 BC.
