    I was attempting to discover the mountains beyond the ski resort in Val D'isere, France. I had taken the ski lift up Le Fornet and had taken the hikers path over the mountain. As I passed a man, I turned around to watch his ascent up the path. There were no skis here.          		 This photograph was taken off the ski path in Val D'isere, France. I went as far as I could on the ski lifts and then had taken the mountain paths to discover this church. I was struck by how, so far from any settlement, there was a church looking out towards the Italian Alps.     Sailing on the Seine - Paris at night. This is one of the simplest pictures I have taken in my life. My friends and I went backpacking to Europe and visited various countries. France is one of my favorite European countries and I guess you can see why. It was around 9pm when we decided to rent some bikes and see the city from a different perspective.     Sophie waits for dinner. On the table rests the fresh bread made earlier. Before eating there is a minute of silence and then a song. Life on this farm is all about living off the land and maintaining sustainable practices. : by aroundland, Views[305]
         		 Till mixes the dough for the bread. The amount of mixing is shared between whoever is present at the farm. It takes about 2 and a half hours to get a good consistency, all the while Bob Marley's

         		 Till works on a new project for the farm. The dance floor was built using wood from the field and will host a number of people for an upcoming party. On this farm in rural France visitors can come and stay for as long as they want, on the condition that they help with daily functions. There are caravans located along the property along with several rooms within the farmhouse and the area is decorated with projects and artwork done by past inhabitants.          		 This may look like a graveyard for trees but this area provides wood for building, cooking and heating, which sustains the farm through long winter months. The land also feeds the grazing goats and houses many wild mushrooms.: by aroundland, Views[253]
