    this used to be filled with water for some kind of coal-mining purpose (no, really.) and now it's an ice-skating rink. frackin' awesome? i think so.: by eks, Views[363]
         		 This is the cafe at Zollverein - the refurbished coal mine we found on our first impromptu city tour. This photo doesn't capture it but it was eeeever so pretty and served a fantastic warm drink made of milk and alcohol that made A and i very warm inside and very happy indeed.: by eks, Views[416]

         		 this is annabel with trevor. trevor comes from south africa and was one of the only other people in the course that i didn't want to set fire to. trevor and i befriended each other early on in the piece when we were both ambushed by The Intense One before we'd managed to finish our morning coffees. he's a lovely boy, good fun, and has a VERY cute little baby - of whom i expect to see more photos mr. surridge!: by eks, Views[382]
