         		 The flues will need regular cleaning for optimum functioning. The flue cleaning brushes were constructed in Bageshwar by Sharaz/Sharad, they have the added bonus of the handle being made from metal pipe fittings so we could easily attach extra lengths if needed.          		 Daytime light is imperative in a Kumaoni house for cooking. UV stable thick plastic was used on the small windows.
