    A castle built on a rock. Within the rock there had been carved out a couple of Hindu temples into which non-Hindus were not allowed. There was also a temple at the top of the castle and although non-believers were not allowed there they didn't police it and I didn't know.          		 Mysore palace. It's not allowed to take photos inside the palace which is quite a stunning place. There is a stage that overlooks a courtyard which was the most impressive place with columns and carvings of Hindu gods.     Me posing at the bar. The guy with his back to the camera approached me later and we started chatting, he works in IT and is a big drinker. The guy told me how the police had called at his house that morning to take his fine for drink/driving and he was proud of it. She asked if I would take her photo but I think she thought that I might give her a few rupees for the privilege.          		 Indian kids are photo tarts. They are also very funny, they like to say hello and shake hands and once you have shaken one hand and said hello then you will have to shake every hand and say hello.
