"Shelter" is a serie of images I took after finding myself in the middle of a very heavy storm back in 2011. Some people lost their lives that day and I was lucky to make it home safe. The situation had a profound effect on me, and i found myself drawn to photograph locations that reminded me of that event. Some places where I could feel the same tension. It's a journey through nature. A story about someone trying to find shelter when nature reassert its dominance over man.
This particular image is a self-portrait.
