    Those aren't storm clouds. The weather was just really perfect for taking photos. This was what the island showed me after leaving the boat and walking a few steps away from the crowded area. A beautiful and breathtaking scenery of overcast clouds meeting the ocean at the center. by: td Views[267] I made it to the vanishing island safe and sound. The first thing I saw was an abandoned blue boat. The fisherman who owned this vesel was out finding sea urchins he could sell to tourists. The entire photo looks so serene and quiet. by: td Views[280] I took this photo just before my boat ride to the vanishing island. The way the ocean and my feet were partitioned by a rock formation simply left me in awe. I had to take a photo of the scene before riding the boat to an island. by: td Views[1039]

    About 30 seconds after walking past the Florence Duomo, the rain started. I ran back and was photographing the explosion of colours (umbrellas) reflected in the wet surface when this Bride turned up. It amazes me that while tourists flock to Italy's beautiful architecture, Italians go about their business as if these wonders are an everyday thing.
