Along the Oregon coast there are a plethora of Himalayan Blackberries. They are considered an invasive species but are quite delicious. I found these berries growing over the door of an abandoned building. It reminded me just how quickly nature can reclaim what it has lost. The door seems simple, but we are the only species that has created the door, so to me it symbolizes civilization.  The berries are invasive, but who invaded who first?: by theeyesofike, Views[335]
