    Octav Postolache walks through the woods, from Sfistofca to C.A. Rosetti, the closest village, for his morning coffee. He is a retired art teacher and a former director of cultural center, moving in 2001 from the opposite corner of the country in the small, remote and depopulated village of Sfistofca, Danube Delta. He left everything behind, bought a house and spends his time around it or organizing various activities (like chess competitions) to make his co-villagers forget about alcohol in a place where life unwinds in poverty and isolation. At 73, his latest plan is selling everything and moving to Argentine.
