    The girl was just strange. She kept hopping around, head tilted to one side while she watched her shadow moving along on the ground. I smiled and lifted my camera, signaling:
    The girl was just strange. She kept hopping around, head tilted to one side while she watched her shadow moving along on the ground. I smiled and lifted my camera, signaling: "Can I take a photo?" The girl would not talk. But she did not look shy. She just froze and stared deadly at me. "Why is she alone with her doll?" Crowds kept passing us by in a busy Sunday afternoon in Central Park.
