The monastery: in early morning we climbed more than 1000 stair down to reach St. Catherine monastery; According to the UNESCO report (60100 ha / Ref: 954), this monastery is one of the oldest working Christian monasteries in the world, a huge building standing since the year 800. it gives an idea of how human work can ecologicaly live between nature.

Dahab is a quite small city in south Sinai, it is a touristic attraction for all nature lovers, and these 5 photos are not pure nature photos! they all have some human touch, telling the story of the enormous peacefully beautiful nature enclosing and containing the limited and balanced human manipulation; opposite to what we see in urban areas and huge modern cities - where we cannot watch stars, or sunset, or even enjoy a quite time!
