    Traveling throughout the English countryside we stumbled upon Lake District. With the use of my 50mm lens “Unoccupied” was produced encompassing one of the lakes, a duck, and the chair. This shot illustrates the beauty that can be found in random places in the UK and I love it for just that. by: rpmitchell Views[434] After being to London once I knew going back that I had to get a great shot of a London taxi and a double decker bus in one picture. Attempt after attempt came this picture shot with my 50mm again. I love it because it illustrates the importance these two symbolic pieces have in the country. Rarely seen elsewhere this picture of both vehicles together is just great. by: rpmitchell Views[534] On our many excursions throughout my semester abroad one stop was at the Howard Castle just outside of York, England. On the property was this small pond, bridge, and building display that was irresistible. After taking a few pictures and getting the composition right I had one of my favorite taken abroad. by: rpmitchell Views[371] Visiting Beatrix Potter’s former residence, famous from her series “Peter Rabbit”, made for an excellent experience. Behind the house was a cabbage patch that contained this combination of structure. Using my 50mm lens and a low aperture the picture turned out great and captures the feel the residence had. by: rpmitchell Views[638]
