My European journey began in Rome.  The historical sites that I visited in Rome were an amazing introduction to Europe. A diversion we couldn't have expected – an 8:30am visit to a Phnom Penh bar to watch, on big screen TV, Ive's alma mater Crimson Tide take the BCS National Championship – complete with Bloody Marys, the first Crystal hot sauce we have seen since leaving the States, and some traditional “Roll Tide Roll” paraphernalia (Ive had to bring that part!). We were joined by an upbeat Social Worker from Dothan, Alabama -- and a guy from Texas who became more and more sullen as the morning unfolded.
