![Squirrel monkeys are the rarest of the four monkey species found in Central America. Living in large troops they can often be seen running and chirping through the trees in a mass of commotion.
Continued protection of the Corcovado National Park and the surrounding forest is required to maintain a healthy habitat for these and many other species of large mammals.
