Here's the Etihad Stadium, one of the two big stadiums in Melbourne. The 9 AFL teams based in Melbourne split the two stadiums as home grounds: 5 at Etihad and 4 at the amazing MCG. Etihad holds around 55,000 people and was about ¾ full on this day, the Roos' home opener. The roof slides across as well on rainy days. After about 120 minutes of running around the oval, this match ended with a 143-56 thumping of North Melbourne by Collingwood, the defending champs.: by flyted, Views[1427]
