The March 11th tsunami reached within just a few feet of Kamaishi church and in the days after it was used as a shelter for local people whose homes had been destroyed.  Previously just open to the local congregation it's been opened to the wider community as a kindergarten and meeting place.  One example of local groups and organisations helping families by giving them the time and support to get on with their lives.: by inaka, Views[543]
