    In 1982 control of the Mission lands were restored to the traditional Aranda owners. The tools and buildings abandoned, it has become a tourist destination without tourists. It is 130km southwest of Alice Springs. This church was built in 1897 after the original was destroyed in heavy rains. It features an inscription in English, German and Aranda. The missionaries abandoned the site in 1891, broken by extreme isolation and family illness.
