It’s not necessary to live in one of the biggest and most populated cities in the world to have a hectic life and be surrounded by many stressors. Even if Costa Rica is sometimes considered a peaceful place, traffic, crowds of people and delinquency can make San Jose City a chaotic site. I had the opportunity to leave the city for a while and explore part of Costa Rican South Pacific area. I captured some images that represents moments of quietness, peace or simply the predomination of nature over human actions.
Traditional fishermen coming back from a working day, the beautiful White Tern (Gygis Alba), or the tropical forest growing without inhibitions. Those scenarios and situations are part of the protected areas from the Southern Pacific zone of Costa Rica.
