    LANGOT The langot is the traditional costume of Kushti. The 'saffron' colour of langot signifies ‘sacrifice’. It is a small piece of cloth used to cover human genitals. It allows flexibility and increases the degrees of freedom of a wrestler. Also it allows maximum possible contact of one’s body with the specially prepared soil, which is known for its anti-septic properties.
