Cafe culture is wonderful in Melbourne. This city has some of the best coffee in the world. Locals would not accept anything less. There is no Tim Horton's here, you must order a latte, cappuccino, or the like, and it is all freshly roasted, freshly ground coffee. Even 7-Elevens have self-serve barista machines with a container on top holding fresh beans that are ground for each customer.
