Tonight is my last night in Utila and after ten days, I can safely say that this place is up in my top three favorites in the world, along with Karijini National Park in Australia and the Fjordlands of New Zealand. There are no majestic water falls, ... Read more >

My grand plan when I left Copan Ruinas was to catch the 5am bus to San Pedro Sula and then change for another bus to La Ceiba and finally, from there catch the ferry to Utila (the closest and cheapest of the Bay Islands of Honduras). I thought I would ... Read more >

Really important part.
I'm kind of geek, I spend too much time on computers, and I need a minimum of modern electronics.
I almost hesitate to take with me my 2.5 kg Macbook...
Finally for weight and battery reasons, I find a other solution.
I take my iPhone, ( I not a rich men, I get it for free, when the time of the importation from USA and unlockage was interresting.)
The iPhone is excactly like a computer, I can surf the web, write emails, listen music, uploads pictures, browse my HD maps of the country.
For the battery, I use a Solar device "Solio Magnesium"
It`s charge my phone two time with the built-in batterry, and charge from the sun in 6-8h.
I also take electrical alimentation from my camera, intra-earsphones (Shure) they give me great quality music, and sound isolation from outside.
2 Usb keys, for pictures,administration
documents, music.
To share media with people who have a computer.
