    This is a traditional Aboriginal cave painting at Injalak Hill, 5kms west of Gunbalanya in Arnhem Land, NT. Painted with white and red ochre this painting is believed to be over 10,000 years old. Hand stencils are very common in Aboriginal rock painting, this particular one is considered very rare due to the detail added into what would normally be negative space. by: arnhemland Views[1219] Once the women are feeling fresh again after their fragrant smoke bath they set about grinding down small stones of ochre.     From the "scary" hotel we moved to a bamboo-hut right at a hidden beach. Very romantic, BUT the taifun came the same night we arrived. We survived, so did the hut, but it was really shaken and more than opnce that night we thought our end is near (being a bit dramatic here..). So we gave up after the first and only night, no sun, no beach, no bamboo-hut.
