Sarswoti Puja: Hindu students worship goddess Sarswoti for education, wisdom and knowledge with great reverence on Basanta Panchami day according to Hindu calendar. I asked them to just hold the statue, made of pure soil and decorated with various decorative things, for a minute before they were all set to immerse it into a pond.
