An intense thunderstorm woke me up in the middle of the night. But I was supposed to leave by night, and I left. You cannot wake up at 9 if you want to see the sunrise at Machu Picchu.
It seemed as if the rain were improvising a symphony. Every drop of water did different sounds while reaching the leaves of any kind of tropical plants. After walking through the gloomy jungle I arrived to the entrance of Machu Picchu.
