This is their office, where the indigenous Dusun people work for their livelihood. Swidden farming is a traditional method of sustaining many families in this community. However, they were always blamed that their practices is unsustainable and causing environmental degradation. The truth is they have rich knowledge of the ecosystem in the area and their agricultural skills could prove very helpful in the safe, sustainable use of slash and burn agriculture.
