    Heading back to Croatia to our apartment for 2 nights we followed the signs to "Bikers weekend" and found ourselves in Umag on the Istrian coast, where we watched helmetless riders sporting the latest Ducatis, MV Augustas, Hondas, Yammies, Beemers, Harleys and even a souped-up tractor with an Akropovic pipe. We lingered long enough to realise that the fumes had been infused into our bloodstream and our adrenaline was at fever-pitch.
