![Last May of this year 2011, I have joined an NGO’s in my country named K.I.D.S. Foundation (Kabataang Inyong Dapat Suportahan Foundation) on a Trek to Tanudan, Kalinga province, It was located in the Northern Philippines, at middle of the picturesque and beautiful long mountain ranges. We have provided Basic medical health care assistance on these underserved far flung barrios for 4 days. We ride on a trucks, walked, hike and trek for 2-3 hours to reach each barrios. Every Tribes of the province were hospitable and excited when we arrived at their place. Their excitement can be noticed with their faces. Most of them were first time to meet Doctors and Nurses. Children’s were given priority especially those who are sicked and needed medical attention. While other children’s and adults were entertained by a games, and health education conducted by the other members of the group. At night we used to sleep and be fostered by some families, their houses were amazing, its warm inside though the climates were called at night, woods are thick and the floor were very shining as if you can get slipped. We also had a chance to see their tribal dances, songs and costumes during the entertainment night.
