Villa Lante, Bagnaia, Italy - 2010: Villa Lante is a garden located just outside of Viterbo that was commissioned by Cardinal Gianfrancesco Gambara. Huge fountains, pools, sculptures, architecture, and perfectly manicured greenery fill the grounds. This photograph was taken in a banquet style hall and shows a trompe-l'œil fresco. The fresco juxtaposed with the objects heightens the awareness of this historical place existing in modern times.: by samanthalynncroteau, Views[481]
