In the summer of 2014 I had the privileged living on the Oregon Coast. I did a lot of traveling along Highway 101, specifically 1001 miles (hence the 1001 on the 101). On my days off I sought adventure and photo opportunities. 

Each of my photo entries centers around the common theme of the wilderness vs. civilization vs. the individual. 

I had been told about these old abandoned bunkers on the coast of Oregon, and I decided to seek them out.
