![The Humble yet Majestic Pelican. The BVIs has some amazing animals on display. From shy lizards to tropical fish. One of the most recognizable is the Pelican. It is amazing to watch them working an area and dive bombing various schools of fish. Each bird will have many attempts before they are successful. This photo is of a pelican drying it wings after a successful dive. I chose the photo because for me the Pelican will always remind me of my time there, both the hours watching them in the isolated beaches but also because of the connection it has with both the land, sea and sky.
