Love the sign! So true, Inca walls are everywhere in Cusco. In Cusco here, first excursion to tour Inca ruins. This is the temple of gold. But guess what, no more gold. Plus it's a church now. Hmm. Those Spanish! They tore down most of the Inca buildings. But left Inca walls as the base of many buildings, as here. Plus those Inca stones were so damn good they reused them to build the churches. Basically every time you see a church in Cusco, you know it replaces a very important Inca religious/government building.: by finally, Views[413]
