    This man is taking ropes of seaweed back to the sea to be replanted and allowed to grow more. His wife sits in their little shed sorting the seaweed and retying the ropes.          		 The local government of Gunungkidul has developed an enormous reservoir called Embung Nglanggeran. In Javanese, “embung” means pond. This artificial lake is built in the peak of primeval volcano Nglanggeran, around 500 metres above sea level.
